Welcome back to School!

Wow, the school holidays have flown and it's the start of Term 3 on the 24th July. I am looking forward to seeing everyone. We will be learning about sound for our Topic and we will be making our own musical instruments. Maths begins with Geometry and we are learning about shapes and how to describe them and sort shapes into different groups. Then we will be looking at Number and refreshing our learning with putting numbers in order and all the different parts to do with numbers like place value and number patterns.    😊

We had fun learning about how to ring 111 and what to do. It was interesting seeing how the oxygen worked and we enjoyed listening to the story and answering questions.

Using the hammers and nails

We like making shape pictures where we use the hammers to bang the nails in to hold the shapes.

Well done to Le'ana who attended school every day for Term 2. A great achievement especially over winter.

We have been busy making cars using wheels and axles that we made. Some moved better than others but we had fun learning how to make them go!
